Application Troubleshooting

If you run into any issues/bugs while filling out your application please report them to murrayb@smsrail.com.

Listed bellow are some options you may take if you have any problems:

  • If you are using a mobile device, try accessing the application page from a desktop
    • Significantly older mobile devices may no longer receive updates
    • For iPhones, that includes updates to Safari
  • Make sure that you are using a modern/updated web browser
    • Modern browsers are more secure, optimized and feature rich
    • Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the most recommended browsers
      • Make sure you are up to date if already using one of these browsers
    • Older versions Internet Explorer and Edge are prone to compatability issues
      • The web application should work fine on IE 10 and above
      • However, Microsoft officially ended support for IE 10 in 2016
  • Make sure you don't have JavaScript blocked in your browser's settings
    • Not having JavaScript enabled will likely break most other sites
  • If all else fails, you can always manually fill out the alternative application
